No. Oyamel welcomes beginners and will recommend a starting group based on age, experience, and current openings.
What age can dancers begin?
Oyamel welcomes dancers ages 3 and up. Contact the studio for the current groups available to your dancer.
What should a dancer wear to rehearsal?
Ask for the current rehearsal dress guidelines before your first visit. Comfortable movement clothes, secured hair, water, and appropriate dance footwear are a helpful starting point.
When can dancers perform?
Performance readiness depends on the group, repertoire, attendance, and the needs of each event. Instructors will explain expectations as dancers progress.
